Natore:National Youth Day 2026 was commemorated in Natore with a focus on the theme "Skilled Youth Will Build the Nation, Bangladesh for All." The day's events included a discussion meeting held at the Deputy Commissioner's Office, attended by notable figures including Advocate M Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu, the Whip of the Jatiya Sangsad and lawmaker for the Natore-2 constituency.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the meeting, the whip highlighted the government's efforts to actively involve the youth in the country's development process. He encouraged the youth to seize available opportunities and urged them to engage in nation-building by acquiring necessary skills to become competent contributors.
The meeting was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Mosammat Sumoni Akter and featured speeches from various officials, including Zila Parishad Administrator Rahim Newaz, Civil Surgeon Dr. Muhammad Mashiur Rahman, and Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Asma Khatun. The welcome address was delivered by ATM Golam Mahbub, Deputy Director of the Department of Youth Development's Natore district office.
As part of the celebrations, loan cheques were distributed to entrepreneurs trained by the Department of Youth Development. A youth fair was also organized on the premises of the Deputy Commissioner's Office, and a cleanliness drive took place at the district stadium premises to mark the occasion.
