Manikganj:The National Youth Day-2026 was observed in Manikganj district today with a series of events organized by the Youth Development Department.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the celebration featured a colorful rally that commenced from the Joka area along the Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Ghior Upazila.
The program was attended by Food Minister Afroza Khanam Rita, who emphasized the importance of enhancing the skills of young people to build a prosperous Bangladesh. Other notable attendees included Deputy Commissioner Nazmun Ara Sultana, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Sarwar Alam, Civil Surgeon Dr. Ivi Ferdous, Deputy Director of Youth Development Manikganj Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam, and Manikganj Press Club President Zahangir Alam Biswas.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates and cheques among youths for their achievements in various categories.
