Narsingdi: A discussion meeting marking National VAT Day and VAT Week-2025 was held today at the Bangladesh Shishu Academy in Narsingdi. This meeting is part of the weeklong observance running from December 10 to 15.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the programme was attended by Muhammad Rashedul Alam, Commissioner of Customs, Excise, and VAT Commissionerate, Dhaka (East), who served as the chief guest. Additional Commissioner Abdul Rashid Mia, Joint Commissioner Md Riazul Islam, Narsingdi Chamber President Rashedul Hasan Rintu (CIP), and Amanat Shah Group Chairman Alhaj Md Helal Mia (CIP) spoke as special guests during the event.
Deputy Commissioner Rabindra Kumar Singh presided over the gathering, which was attended by businesspersons, taxpayers, and officials from the VAT department.
