Bandarban: The National Legal Aid Day was observed here in the district in a befitting manner today. This year's theme promotes rule of law, fundamental human rights, and justice for all, while also discouraging conflicts and encouraging people to seek legal assistance.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, to mark the day, a colorful rally was organized in the town, highlighting the importance of legal aid in the community. Following the rally, a discussion was held at the district judges' court hall room, attended by various dignitaries and community members.
The discussion was presided over by Md. Jamiul Haider, who serves as the chairman of the Bandarban legal aid committee and the district judge of the Bandarban district and sessions judge court. The event underscored the significance of legal aid in ensuring justice and protecting fundamental human rights for all citizens.
