Kathmandu: Vice Chair of National Assembly Bimala Ghimire has left for China today, heading a six-member delegation to participate in the 8th China-South Asia Exhibition to be held in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China.
The delegation also includes National Assembly members Maya Prasad Sharma, Tulsa Kumari Dahal and Durga Kumari Gurung, Federal Parliament Secretariat Deputy Secretary Bikas Bohara and Vice Chair’s Personal Secretary Prem Bahadur Singh.
The parliamentary delegation led by the Vice Chair will attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition on July 22. She is also scheduled to address the inaugural session of the exhibition.
During the visit, the delegation will meet with high-ranking officials of Yunnan province government. The delegation is scheduled to return home on July 24.
