Khulna: Khulna Development Authority (KDA) Chairman Advocate SM Shafiqul Alam Mona today emphasized the nation's recognition of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia's significant contribution to women's education. "Women are not confined to the four walls of their homes. They can also lead the state efficiently by overcoming various challenges in life, and Begum Khaleda Zia herself is a bright example of this," he stated.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mona made these remarks while serving as the chief guest at a reception for meritorious students who achieved GPA-5 in the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations from Boyra Haji Faiz Uddin Higher Secondary Girls' School in the city.
