Dhaka: Newly appointed Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani on Monday expressed his commitment to fulfill the significant responsibilities assigned to him with sincerity and dedication. “Alhamdulillah, at a crucial moment for the country, a huge responsibility has been placed on my shoulders. InshAllah, I will try my best to carry out this responsibility to the best of my ability,” Gani shared with reporters at the Secretariat.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the government announced Nasimul Gani’s appointment as the new Cabinet Secretary through a notification from the Ministry of Public Administration. Prior to this, Gani was the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Responding to inquiries, Gani assured that he would maintain his previous work approach. The government had earlier canceled the remaining tenure of former Cabinet Secretary Sheikh Abdur Rashid’s contractual appointment on Saturday, February 14.
