‘Narendra Modi in World Stage’ launched

Kathmandu: book entitled ‘Bishwamanch Ma Narendra Modi’ that is translated as ‘Narendra Modi in the World Stage’ has been launched in the ongoing Kalinga Literary Festival in Kathmandu.

UK’s ambassador to Nepal, Rob Fenn, culture expert Dr Jagman Gurung and Sanjeev Sanyal, a member of the Economic Advisors Council to India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, released the Nepali translation of the book jointly.

Sanyal said the book helps its readers understand the perspective of Indian Prime Minister Modi to the world when India is a global rising power.

India’s Prime Minister has already observed four official visits to Nepal including the SAARC Conference. During his visits, he reached Janakpur, Lumbini to Muktinath.

The book provides the Nepali translations of the ‘significant speeches’ he made during the Nepal visits at different times, it is said

The book incorporates his speeches during his engagements at the national and international forums from 2014-2024 as the Prime Minister of India. The contents w
ere compiled by Bhupendra Bahadur Chhetri and were translated into Nepali by Sagar Chand.
