Dhaka: National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener and Jamaat-led alliance candidate for Dhaka-11 constituency, Nahid Islam, exercised his voting right early in the morning and encouraged all citizens to visit polling centers and cast their votes.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Nahid Islam cast his vote at the A K M Rahmatullah University College located in Badda. After voting, he addressed the media, stating, “I have cast my very first vote without any interruption. I urge all my countrymen to vote for the restoration of democracy.”

When questioned about accepting the election outcome, he stated, “If the election is fair and transparent, we are ready to accept whatever people decide for us. But the election must be fair.”
