Atiqur Rahaman Mia, former president of Muksudpur upazila Awami League, passed away today at the age of 90. Atiqur Rahaman, also former Mayor of Muksudpur Municipality, breathed his last at his residence in Muksudpur this morning, family sources said. He left behind his wife, two sons and a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death. Awami League general secretary and road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader expressed deep shock at the death of Atiqur Rahaman.
