Jhenaidah: A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident in Asannagar area under Shailkupa upazila of the district this afternoon. The deceased was identified as Miraj Hossain, 22, son of Monirul Islam from Basudebpur village under Harinakundu upazila of the district.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred around 3.30 pm on the Jhenaidah-Kushtia highway. A bus collided with the motorcycle from behind, resulting in the immediate death of the bike rider, Miraj Hossain. Shailkupa Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Masum Khan confirmed the details of the incident.
