Dhaka: A motorcyclist was killed this morning in a road accident in front of Kurmitola General Hospital here. The deceased was identified as businessman Mohammad Mujibur Rahman, 50, son of Abu Sayeed, and a resident of Central Azampur under Dakhinkhan Police Station.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident occurred around 8:30 am when a truck hit Mujibur’s motorbike, leaving him critically injured, police and hospital sources said. He was initially taken to Kurmitola General Hospital. As his condition deteriorated, his relatives rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead around 10:30 am.
