Madaripur: A motorcyclist named Mashiur Rahman, aged 40, was killed in a road accident this morning on the Dhaka-Bhanga Expressway at Shibchar upazila. The incident occurred when the motorcycle he was riding hit a road divider in the Bandarkhola area after he lost control.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mashiur Rahman, a resident of Burir Hat in Barishal district and son of Mostafizur Rahman, was on his way home from Dhaka when the accident happened around 10 am. The crash resulted in his immediate death at the scene.
Sergeant Md. Sabuj Mia of Shibchar Highway Police Station confirmed the details of the accident, noting the loss of control as the cause of the collision.
