Barguna: A motorcycle rider lost his life while two of his co-riders sustained injuries when a tree collapsed on them in the Pachakoralia area under Taltoli upazila of Barguna district this morning. The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Shariat Biswas, son of Alamgir Biswas, a resident of the same locality.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the tragic incident occurred around 8:30 am when a partially cut tree unexpectedly fell onto the motorcycle, severely injuring all three riders. The injured individuals were promptly transported to Amtoli Upazila Health Complex, where the attending doctor pronounced Shariat Biswas dead upon arrival.
Md. Shahjalal, Officer-in-Charge of Taltoli Police Station, confirmed the occurrence of the incident.
