Jamalpur: The monthly district law and order meeting was held today at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner in Jamalpur. Mostafizur Rahman Babul, the lawmaker of Jamalpur-3, attended the meeting in the capacity of adviser. The session was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Yusuf Ali, with Additional District Magistrate AKM Abdullah Bin Rashid conducting the proceedings.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mostafizur Rahman Babul emphasized the necessity for law enforcement agencies to implement special measures to maintain law and order in anticipation of Eid-ul-Azha. He highlighted the importance of monitoring the prices of essential commodities in the markets to ensure market stability. Additionally, he instructed relevant authorities to take decisive action against drug peddlers as part of efforts to combat the issue of drug distribution.
