Sundarganj: Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser Monir Haidar emphasized the importance of nurturing meritorious students to become worthy citizens who can lead the nation towards its development goals. He stressed the need for students to utilize their talents effectively to contribute to the country's progress.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Monir Haidar highlighted the importance of providing special care and inspiration to talented students, encouraging them to refrain from social ills and grow into good human beings. He made these remarks at a reception ceremony held for students who achieved GPA-5 in the SSC examinations from various schools in Sundarganj upazila.
The event, organized by Masiar Rahman Foundation, took place on Friday afternoon at the upazila parishad auditorium. As the chief guest, Monir urged students to remain focused on their studies and pursue quality education to ensure success in life. He described brilliant students as the "assets of the nation" and called upon them to nurture patriotic values and contribute to nation-building in their future careers.
The ceremony was presided over by Zillur Rahman, president of the foundation, and was attended by several notable figures, including ADC-General AKM Hedayetul Islam, UNO Raaz Kumar Biswas, Additional Police Super Shariful Islam, Upazila Academic Supervisor Belal Hossain, Upazila Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Majedur Rahman, and Convener of Upazila BNP Babul Ahmed. The event concluded with the distribution of crests and cash prizes to 375 meritorious students from the upazila.
