Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir Returns Home After Hospital Stay

Dhaka: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has returned to his Gulshan residence from the capital’s United Hospital this afternoon. “The Secretary General’s condition is stable now. He is doing well,” said BNP Standing Committee member Dr AZM Zahid Hossain.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Fakhrul underwent various medical tests in the hospital under the treatment of Professor Mominuzzaman. Fakhrul Islam was immediately taken to the hospital when he felt unwell at his Gulshan residence last night.



Dr. Zahid mentioned that party acting chairman Tarique Rahman inquired about the BNP Secretary General’s health after hearing the news of his admission to hospital. Additionally, Jamaat-e-Islami Nayeb-e-Ameer Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher and Assistant Secretary General Moazzam Hossain Helal visited United Hospital to see the BNP leader this afternoon.
