Dhaka: Mirza Abbas, political adviser to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital on Wednesday evening.
According to United News of Bangladesh, Mirza Abbas fell unconscious while drinking water during iftar, as stated by Afroza Abbas, his wife. Due to the lack of improvement in his condition, he was taken to Evercare Hospital at night.
Afroza Abbas, who is also the president of Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal, has requested prayers from the country’s people for his speedy recovery.
