Bogura: A minor girl was killed when a truck ran over her in front of Arail Mosque on the Chapapur-Chowmuhoni road under Adamdighi upazila of the district on Sunday morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the deceased was Habiba Khatun, 4, daughter of Idris Ali from Venla village in Chapapur union of the upazila. The accident occurred around 11 am while the girl was crossing the road, resulting in her immediate death at the scene.
Adamdighi Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Ferdous Ali confirmed the incident. The authorities have handed over the body to the family after completing the legal process.
