Bagerhat: A minor boy was killed in a road accident in Kachna area under Mollahat upazila of the district this morning. The deceased was Partha Tikadar, 6, son of Nripen Tikadar of Kachna village.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident took place on the Kachna-Angra road around 10.30 am when a speedy sand-laden trolley ran over the boy. He died on the spot.
Mollahat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Fazlul Haque stated that the trolley has been seized and efforts are underway to arrest the driver. Further legal action regarding the incident is under process.
