Kech: Six members of a family were killed and three others injured when unidentified armed men attacked a house in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province, police reported. The attack took place in Buleda tehsil of Kech district, where the assailants opened fire indiscriminately and launched a mortar round at the residence. Among the victims were women and children.

According to United News of Bangladesh, the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, with some reported to be in critical condition. The attack drew condemnation from Provincial Planning and Development Minister Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, who attributed the assault to the banned militant group Balochistan Liberation Army. Buledi described the incident as an attack on innocent civilians and stated that law enforcement agencies had been mobilized to apprehend those responsible and bring them to justice.
