Metro Rail Adjusts Ramadan Schedule for Passenger Convenience

Dhaka: Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has announced a revised schedule for metro rail services on the occasion of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan. According to the new schedule, metro rail services will begin at 6:30 am from Uttara Uttar Station from the first day of Ramadan until the day before Eid-ul-Fitr.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, in a notification signed by Director A K M Khairul Alam and issued today, DMTCL stated that passengers will be allowed to carry a maximum of 250 ml of water for iftar. The notification also detailed that during Ramadan, the first train from Uttara Uttar Station to Motijheel will depart at 6:30 am, while the last train will leave at 9:30 pm.



Additionally, the first train from Motijheel Station will depart at 7:15 am and the last train at 10:10 pm. The notification also mentioned that the schedule for Fridays, Saturdays, and other public holidays will remain unchanged.
