Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted that weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. It also predicted that rain or thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet division.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BMD bulletin indicates that a mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the district of Sirajganj, with potential for it to spread. Additionally, day temperatures may rise by 1-2 degrees Celsius, and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country.
The highest temperature recorded on Wednesday was 36.8 degrees Celsius in both Khulna and Chuadanga districts, while the lowest temperature recorded today was 19.8 degrees Celsius in Sylhet. In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:31 pm today and rise at 5:19 am tomorrow.
