Met Office Forecasts Rain in Khulna and Barishal Divisions

Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a Met office bulletin indicated that “rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna and Barishal divisions.” The weather is expected to remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere across the country.



The bulletin further mentioned that day and night temperatures might experience a slight rise throughout Bangladesh. The highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius in Mongla, located in the Khulna division, while the minimum temperature today was 19 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat, situated in the Rangpur division.



Additionally, the sun is set to set at 6.12 pm today and will rise at 5.56 am tomorrow in the capital.
