Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Met office bulletin issued this morning indicated that light to moderate rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, are likely to occur at most places over the Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions. Additionally, many areas in the Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Dhaka divisions may also experience similar weather conditions.
Moreover, the bulletin highlighted that some regions might experience moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall. Despite the anticipated precipitation, day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country.
The highest temperature on Monday was recorded at 33.5 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat under the Rangpur division, while Sylhet experienced the minimum temperature of 23.9 degrees Celsius today. In the last 24 hours, Teknaf witnessed the highest rainfall, measuring 183 millimeters.
Residents of Dhaka can expect the sun to set at 6:29 pm today and rise at 5:35 am tomorrow.
