Dhaka: A meeting was held at Professor Abdul Matin Chowdhury Virtual Classroom to review the progress of renovation work of various residential halls of Dhaka University (DU). The meeting was presided over by the University Treasurer Professor Dr. M Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, who also serves as the President of the Central Coordination Committee for Technical Inspection, Evaluation, and Monitoring of various residential halls and buildings.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Acting Registrar of the university, Acting Director of the Planning and Development Office, Acting Chief Engineer, Director of Accounts, and engineers from the Engineering Department attended the meeting. The primary focus was to assess the overall progress of the renovation work.
During the meeting, various short-term, medium-term, and long-term action plans were discussed and adopted to ensure the renovation work is completed efficiently. Specific instructions were provided to the engineering department of the university to ensure proper supervision of the ongoing renovation projects.
