Kochi: Malayalam actor Meera Vasudevan, now 44, has candidly expressed her regret over the 17 years she spent in what she describes as three failed marriages. She believes these years significantly hindered her professional growth and personal development.
According to United News of Bangladesh, Meera, who rose to fame with her role in the 2003 Hindi film “Rules: Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula” alongside Milind Soman, later carved out a successful career in Malayalam cinema. Reflecting on her personal life, the “Thanmathra” actor shared that she had dedicated a substantial portion of her life to relationships that ultimately did not value her contributions or aspirations.
In a conversation with Dhanya Varma, Meera disclosed, “I often tell my son that I wasted 17 years of my life on three marriages. I could have achieved much more by focusing on cinema, fitness, or building a meaningful social circle.” She emphasized that the time could have been better spent with her family, rather than in relationships that lacked mutual respect.
Previously, in an interview with Movie World Media, Meera mentioned that she has come to terms with her past mistakes and is currently concentrating on her career while enjoying a happier phase in her life. Her marital journey saw her first marriage with Vishal Agarwal in 2005, ending in separation in 2010. She then married John Kokken in 2012, separating in 2016, and later Vipin Puthiyankam in 2024, with the marriage ending in 2025.
