Martial Arts to Be Introduced in Primary Schools: Bobby Hajjaj

Dhaka: State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj announced today that the government plans to introduce martial arts into the primary school curriculum. This initiative aims to foster both physical and mental development among children while providing them with essential self-defense skills.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the state minister highlighted that sports programs will be enhanced at the primary level. Martial arts will be incorporated into Classes Four and Five, focusing on developing self-defense capabilities alongside the overall growth of students. Hajjaj shared these insights while addressing attendees at a black belt award ceremony at Bijoy Sarani in the capital.

He elaborated that martial arts training would not only impart self-defense skills to students but also contribute to building discipline, self-confidence, patience, and a positive mindset.
