Chattogram: The maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla, and Payra have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal No. 3 due to the formation of a low-pressure area over the Northwest Bay and adjoining areas. This development is expected to influence the weather conditions significantly in the region.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the low-pressure area may result in squally weather affecting the maritime ports, North Bay, and the adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh. As a precautionary measure, all fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to stay close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice is given.
