Manju Urges KCC Employees’ Union to Prioritize Service Orientation

Khulna: Leaders of the newly elected committee of the Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Employees’ Union made a courtesy call on KCC Administrator Nazrul Islam Manju at the GIZ auditorium of Nagar Bhaban today. During the meeting, the administrator extended his congratulations to the newly elected leaders and commended the peaceful and participatory nature of the recent election process.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the administrator emphasized that KCC is fundamentally a service-oriented institution and that the quality of its services is heavily reliant on its employees. He stressed the importance of the corporation’s commitment to public welfare and its responsibility to stand by the city dwellers.



Manju encouraged the members of the Employees’ Union to approach their duties with renewed enthusiasm, highlighting the significance of their roles in enhancing service delivery. The biennial election of the KCC Employees’ Union, held on April 3, saw the Haque-Liton panel emerge victorious over the Golam Mostafa-Ashraful panel. The newly elected leaders marked the occasion by presenting a bouquet of flowers to the administrator.



In attendance at the meeting were KCC Chief Engineer Moshiuzzaman Khan, Conservancy Officer Engineer Md. Anisur Rahman, Estate Officer Gazi Salauddin, Store Superintendent Ujjal Kumar Saha, and License Officer (Trade) Khan Habibur Rahman, among others.
