Rajbari: A man was killed in a road accident near Circuit House of Sadar upazila on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased was Abdul Hannan, 58, a deed writer and son of Harun Master of Sen village under Pangsha upazila of the district. The accident took place around 12.45 pm when a microbus hit him while he was crossing the road in front of the Circuit House. He was taken to Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead. Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station Mahmudur Rahman confirmed the matter.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the incident has raised concerns over road safety in the area, particularly for pedestrians crossing busy roads. The local community has urged authorities to implement stricter traffic regulations to prevent such occurrences in the future.
