Naogaon: A man was killed in a road accident at Bholabazar area under Manda upazila of the district today. The deceased was identified as Palash Ali, 48, a resident of Chapainawabganj. He was working as a jail guard at the Bogra district jail.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident took place around 9:30 am on the Naogaon-Rajshahi highway. A bus collided with a motorcycle from the opposite direction, resulting in the immediate death of the motorcycle rider, Palash. Sub-Inspector (SI) of Manda Police Station Ashish Kumar provided details about the incident.
