Bogura: A man was killed when a truck rammed into another truck in the Chonka area under Sherpur upazila of the district this morning. The deceased was Ferdous, 16, son of Aminur Rahman of Kovalipara village in Bogura Sadar upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the incident took place around 8 am on the Dhaka-Bogura highway when a truck hit another standing truck. The collision left truck helper Ferdous dead on the spot and injured its driver, said Sherpur Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge Al Amin.
The body will be handed over to the family after the legal process, he said.
