Chattogram: Chattogram district police arrested a man with a foreign-made pistol from the Betua area of Dantmara union of the Fatikchhari upazila on Monday. The arrested individual was identified as Aman Hossain, 30, in Fatikchhari upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhujpur Thana Mahbub Haque stated that, acting on secret information, law enforcement officials conducted a raid at Aman’s residence and arrested him. The authorities recovered a foreign-made pistol, two rounds of bullets, a Ramda, and a Kirich (local sharp weapon) during the operation.
OC Mahbub Haque confirmed that Aman Hossain has two pending cases against him with Bhujpur and Hathazari police stations. Following the completion of the legal process, the accused was sent to jail through court today.
