Rangpur: The district’s main Eid-ul-Fitr congregation is scheduled to take place at the Rangpur Collectorate Eidgah grounds at 8:30 am on Eid day. The announcement was made via a press note issued by the Rangpur Regional PID office to the media earlier today.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Rangpur district administration and Rangpur City Corporation have already undertaken extensive preparations to ensure the successful organization of the main Eid-ul-Fitr congregation. The prayers will be led by Maulana Md Bayezid Hossaine, the khatib of the historic Rangpur Keramatia Jame Mosque and a prominent Islamic thinker.

In the event of inclement weather on Eid day, the main congregation will be relocated to the Rangpur District Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center, where it will be held in two phases. The first congregation will commence at 8:30 am, followed by a second at 9 am.

Additionally, Eid congregations will occur at other Eidgahs and mosques throughout the district, following the timing of the main congregation. To mark the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, improved diets will be provided to hospitals, prisons, children’s families, orphanages, and vagabond centers.
