Dhaka: The main congregation of the holy Eid-ul Azha is set to take place at the Jatiya Eidgah located on the High Court premises at 7:30am on June 7, as stated in an official press release issued today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, if the weather conditions are unfavorable, the main Jamaat will be relocated to Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 8am. Consistent with previous years, Baitul Mukarram mosque will host five Eid Jamaats. The first of these congregations is scheduled for 7am, with subsequent Jamaats at 8am, 9am, 10am, and 10:45am, as noted in a release from the Islamic Foundation.
The Eid Jamaat at the Jatiya Eidgah is to be broadcast live across all television channels. Additionally, the schedule for Eid-ul Azha congregations at major mosques within the capital and throughout the country will be aired on Bangladesh Television (BTV), Bangladesh Betar, and other TV channels on the eve of Eid.
