Dhaka: The first-ever Chinese calligraphy exhibition has begun in the capital, marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bangladesh and China. The seven-day exhibition was officially inaugurated at the Nalini Kanta Bhattasali Exhibition Hall of the National Museum.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center, and the Confucius Institute at the University of Dhaka jointly organized the exhibition. The event showcases the cultural ties between the two nations through the ancient art of calligraphy.
Chinese Embassy Attach© Sun and Bangladesh-China Friendship Center General Secretary HM Jahangir Alam Rana were present at the opening ceremony, highlighting the importance of cultural exchanges in strengthening bilateral relations. The exhibition is expected to attract a wide range of visitors interested in the art and history of Chinese calligraphy.
