Magura: As part of the ongoing Youth Festival 2025 celebrations, Bangladesh Red Crescent, Magura Unit today organized a “First Aid and Awareness Drill” at the field adjacent to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office. The event took place at 4:00 pm and was graced by the presence of the Deputy Commissioner of Magura, who served as the chief guest, alongside Mr. Md. Ahidul Islam, Chairman of Red Crescent Magura unit.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, participants demonstrated practical techniques for providing immediate assistance in accidents and emergencies during the drill. They explained steps for administering first aid and discussed methods to raise public awareness on safety measures.
The chief guest addressed the participants, emphasizing the potential of youth in enhancing societal awareness and expanding humanitarian services. He remarked, “By harnessing the positive energy of youth, we can enhance societal awareness and expand humanitarian services. Initiatives like this will further encourage youth participation in humanitarian activities.”
The event aimed to equip young people with essential knowledge on emergency response and first aid, enhancing their capacity to protect and support the local community in times of need.
