Dhaka: Little Friends Club and Dhaka Rangers Football Club secured victories in their respective third round matches of the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Championship League, held at two different venues in the capital on Monday.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Little Friends Club delivered a commanding performance against BRTC Sports Club at Fortis ground, overwhelming them with a 6-0 scoreline. Arbit Roy was instrumental in their victory, scoring twice in the 73rd and 88th minutes. His efforts were complemented by goals from Amir Ali, Md Shofiq Rahman, and Md Ali Mirad in the 45th, 45+2nd, and 64th minutes, respectively. The scoring was opened for Little Friends by a suicidal goal from Md Limon of BRTC in the 14th minute.
In another fixture, Dhaka Rangers Football Club emerged victorious over City Club with a 2-1 win at Bashundhara Kings arena practice ground. Md Rayhan put Dhaka Rangers ahead in the 40th minute. City Club’s Md Imon Ali Sheikh equalized in the 51st minute, but Al Amin Rahman clinched the win for Dhaka Rangers by scoring in the 90+1st minute.
