Bangladesh: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind in different parts of the country over the next 24 hours commencing from 9:00 am.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a Met Office bulletin issued this morning indicates that light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions.
The bulletin also highlights the possibility of moderately heavy to heavy rainfall at places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions. The day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country.
The highest temperature recorded on Sunday was 35 degrees Celsius in Rangpur, while today's minimum temperature was 24.4 degrees Celsius in Sylhet and Bandarban. During the last 24 hours till 6:00 am today, Kutubdia recorded the highest rainfall of 81 millimetres.
The sun is scheduled to set in Dhaka at 6:41 pm today and rise at 5:29 am tomorrow.
