Dhaka: Light to moderate rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, are expected to occur over many parts of Bangladesh in the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00 am today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has issued a forecast indicating that several divisions, including Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet, will likely experience these weather conditions.
The bulletin from BMD also mentioned that a few areas in the Dhaka and Khulna divisions might encounter similar weather patterns. Additionally, the possibility of moderate heavy to heavy rainfall at certain locations across the country has been highlighted.
The forecast also suggests a slight drop in day temperatures, while night temperatures are expected to remain mostly unchanged. The meteorological department noted that the monsoon is currently fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over the North Bay.
On the previous day, Chuadanga recorded the
highest temperature at 36.5 degrees Celsius, while the lowest temperature of 24.5 degrees Celsius was noted in Kutubdia. In Dhaka, the sunset is expected at 6:07 pm today, with the sunrise scheduled for 5:44 am tomorrow.
