Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a convict, who was sentenced to life-term imprisonment in a murder case, from Tongi in Gazipur on Thursday night.
The arrested convict was Papar Scuke, 33.
RAB-3 Commander Lt Col Arif Mohiuddin said a murder case was filed against the Papar Scuke with Kamalakanta Police Station in 2011.
He remained absconding since the trial began. A court sentenced him to life-term imprisonment in 2022.
