LGRD Minister Signs Condolence Book for Norway King’s Death

Dhaka: Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Minister Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan on Monday signed the condolence book at the Norwegian Embassy in Dhaka following the death of King Harald V of Norway. Norwegian Ambassador to Bangladesh H¥kon Arald Gulbrandsen was present during the occasion.

According to United News of Bangladesh, the minister conveyed profound grief and sincere condolences on behalf of the government and people of Bangladesh to the Norwegian Royal Family, government, and people. King Harald V passed away on August 28, prompting the Norwegian Embassy in Dhaka to open the condolence book to allow individuals to pay their respects.

The signing of the condolence book marked a gesture of solidarity and support from Bangladesh, reflecting the diplomatic relations between the two nations. The event was attended by officials from the embassy and representatives of the Bangladeshi government.
