Dhaka:Land Minister Mizanur Rahman Minu was transported to Dhaka for advanced medical treatment after being admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) due to illness.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the minister's Assistant Private Secretary, Nazmul Haque Dicken, confirmed the situation. Minister Minu was taken by ambulance to Shah Makhdum Airport at around 8 a.m. and flown to Dhaka for further treatment at Bangladesh Medical University (PG).
Nazmul Haque Dicken stated that the minister had been unwell for several days, with his condition worsening on Wednesday. He received three bags of blood at RMCH before his transfer to Dhaka. The minister has requested prayers from the public across the country for his quick recovery.
Previously, the minister had received medical treatment in Singapore before returning to Bangladesh.
