Dhaka: Land Advisor Ali Imam Majumdar has instructed officials to work devotedly for the welfare of the country following government laws and regulations. “We must be aware of the rules and regulations of the state. We must dispense our responsibilities properly and timely. We must work for the welfare of the people,” he said while exchanging views in its first engagement with the officials and employees of the ministry at his secretariat office here.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, at the beginning of the meeting, Senior Secretary of the ministry ASM Saleh Ahmed welcomed the adviser with a bouquet. During the engagement, Additional Secretary (Development) Md. Emdadul Haque Chowdhury gave a detailed presentation about the activities of the ministry.
Ali Imam Majumder emphasized the disparity between the country’s land areas and the needs of its people, noting the rise in crimes over land properties. He urged employees not to bow to powerful persons while protecting land properties. The meeting was attended by Land Reform Board Chairman AJM Salauddin Nagari, Land Appeal Board Chairman Muhammad Ibrahim, and other senior officials.
