Kuwait Airways Friday awarded 20 top travel agencies in Bangladesh at its "Annual Agent Conference 2023" at a hotel in the capital.
Saimon Overseas, Victory Travels, Talon Corporation, Activate Travels and Tours, Airspeed Private, Al Gazi Travels, and Al Mansur Travels were among the 20 agencies that received the honour.
Kuwait Airways CEO Maen Mahmoud Rajouki and Director Commercial Amin Al Hayemi joined the event online.
Kuwait Airways Senior Country Manager Bashar F Karam was also present.
Also, different travel agents, officials of Kuwait Airways and Total Airlines Services, which got the opportunity to represent Kuwait Airways as general sales agent (GSA) for both cargo and passenger in 2020, were present.
Total Air Services Managing Director Morshedul Alam Chakladar said the airline sector faced major disruption during the pandemic but they did not lay off any workers. "We managed the situation by working with them."
