Khulna: Khulna University (KU) Vice Chancellor Prof Md. Rezaul Karim highlighted the crucial need for incorporating modern technology and advanced research methods to enhance the quality of research.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Prof Rezaul Karim emphasized the importance of forming multiple research teams and engaging in collaborative efforts for the advancement of the country. He made these remarks during the inauguration of a workshop on research methodology held at the lecture theatre of the Urban, Rural and Planning (URP) Discipline on the university campus.
The workshop was organized jointly by the URP Discipline and the Social Science Research Council of the Planning Ministry. Prof Rezaul Karim stressed that the training provided should be feedback-based and practically relevant to ensure effective learning and application.
Additionally, the Vice Chancellor called for an increase in budget allocation for education, underlining its importance for the development of quality research. Dr. Sadia Sharmin, Joint Secretary of the Social Science Research Council under the Planning Ministry, virtually attended the program. Faculty members from various disciplines participated in the workshop, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to research and learning.
