Khulna: Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Khulna University (KU) Professor Dr Md Rezaul Karim today emphasized the vital role of law enforcement, particularly the traffic division, in facilitating candidates' timely arrival at exam halls.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the VC highlighted the necessity of coordinated efforts among all agencies to ensure safety and instill confidence among candidates and guardians. He conveyed these points while presiding over a meeting held in the conference room of the university's administrative building.
To ensure the smooth conduct of all examinations, a coordination meeting on security measures and traffic management was held, attended by representatives from the administration and law enforcement agencies. The VC noted that a significant influx of candidates and guardians is expected in Khulna due to the admission tests of Khulna, Dhaka, Rajshahi, Jagannath, and the Agriculture Cluster.
The VC stressed the importance of preventing any sense of insecurity during the exams and urged the authorities to address traffic congestion near the university, particularly around the Gallamari Bridge, ensuring the timely arrival of teachers and staff.
Khulna University's undergraduate admission tests for the 2025-26 academic year are scheduled for December 18-19. Representatives from law enforcement agencies assured that they would enhance overall security to guarantee smooth and safe examinations. Registrar (In-Charge) Prof Dr S M Mahbubur Rahman presented details regarding the examination management.
