KU Entry Tests Begin Tomorrow, 108,266 Candidates Vie for 1,109 Seats

Khulna: The admission test for first-year undergraduate (honours) programmes at Khulna University (KU) for the 2025-26 academic session will begin tomorrow. A total of 108,266 candidates will compete for 1,109 seats across four units, university officials said.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the admission test for the ‘D’ Unit under the School of Management and Business Administration will be held from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon at centres in Khulna and Dhaka on Thursday, with 3,603 candidates sitting for this unit. Later in the day, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, the ‘C’ Unit admission test will take place simultaneously at centres in Khulna, Dhaka, Rajshahi, and Chattogram. This unit includes the Schools of Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Education, and Fine Arts, with 36,734 candidates expected to appear.



On December 19, the ‘A’ Unit admission test for the School of Science, Engineering, and Technology will be held from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the same four centres. A separate drawing test for Architecture applicants will follow from 11:40 am to 12:40 pm, involving 38,961 candidates in the ‘A’ Unit test. Later that day, the ‘B’ Unit admission test for the School of Life Sciences will be conducted from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at centres in Khulna, Dhaka, Rajshahi, and Chattogram, with 28,968 candidates appearing.



University authorities have stated that all necessary preparations have been completed to ensure the examinations are conducted smoothly and securely. Security has been strengthened at all centres, and coordination with the relevant administrative bodies will be maintained.
