SYLHET: Khulna emerged victorious in a heart-stopping encounter against Barishal, winning by a slender margin of one run in the NCL T20 at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. This victory marks Khulna's second consecutive win in the tournament, while Barishal suffered their second successive defeat. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Khulna, batting first, managed to post a total of 130-9, with Captain Nurul Hasan Sohan leading the charge with a top score of 39. Pacer Kamrul Islam Rabbi was instrumental for Barishal, claiming four wickets for 23 runs, which played a significant role in restricting Khulna's batting lineup. Opener Anamul Haque Bijoy contributed 24 runs to the total. Barishal, in pursuit of 131 runs for victory, fell agonizingly short, ending their innings at 129-9.
